David is a Principal and co-owner at MyFiduciary.
 
David is a Trustee of the New Zealand Refining Company staff pension scheme and is a member of the investment committees of the Public Trust and the Māori-backed Te Pūia Tāpapa direct investment fund.
He also has considerable experience as a company director in the renewable energy and infrastructure areas. His current roles include Galileo Green Energy GmbH (a European wind and solar developer), Chair of New Zealand International Commercial Pilot Academy (a flight training organisation) and a director of Gasnet (the owner of the gas network in Whanganui-Manawatu.
 
David spent eight years at the New Zealand Superannuation Fund, much of it as Head of Investment Analysis. He had a range of private market and direct investing experience, being involved in the infrastructure, forestry, farmland and insurance mandates. He was a member of the Fund’s investment committee and led the Responsible Investment team.
 
He has previously worked in the Economics Department at the OECD in Paris, the National Bank of New Zealand and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. He holds a Master of Science (Distinction) from the London School of Economics and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.
